Leo Shipcka graduated in 2004 from the Cleveland State University where he obtained a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. He joined the firm in March 2005; he works both as an executive and legal assistant to Mrs. Wong. Born in Tirana, Albania, Leo is fluent in both Albanian and English. Brian Marek is a graduate of St. Bonaventure University where he obtained a BA in philosophy. Joining the Firm in 2002, he is employed as a paralegal. He works on non-immigrant petitions and visas such as H-1B's and B-1/B-2 extensions. Brian also prepares and files N-400's, US Passport applications, Permanent labor certifications, J-1 Waivers, I-601 Waivers and I-212 Applications. Mr. Jackie Tong is responsible for processing the final step in the permanent residency process for our clients. He prepares and files the extensive "Green Card" application packets. Mr. Tong also assists with employment authorization, advance parole and re-entry documents. Mr. Tong joined Margaret Wong & Associates in 1998. Agnes Ma has been with the firm for 10 years. She speaks Chinese and works with Immigrant visa, both family based/1-130 and work based/I-140 through the National Visa Center, with the US Consulate overseas. Jilan Zhang joined our firm in 1998. Born in China, she is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English. She works closely with Margaret Wong in handling special cases and she also works as part of the Chinese group helping with our Chinese clients. Born in Hong Kong and later moved to Taipei, Arty Wynieski is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese. She has a Bachelor Degree of Arts, majored in Linguistics. She assists for preparing Green Card applications, Employment Authorizations and FOIA requests. Mona Ma is a legal assistant at Margaret Wong & Associates. She joined the firm on May 1st, 2006. Ms. Ma has a B.A. in Languages from Shijiazhuang University of Economics, located south of Beijing, China. Before joining the firm, she worked for 2 years as a freelance translator and interpreter for many major corporations in China, with a base in Qingdao, a costal city ideal for foreign investors and co-host for 2008 Olympics. Ms. Ma works closely with Mrs. Wong as well as our green card department. Karim Berdiev, a 2003 graduate of The University of Toledo, with a Master's Degree in Political Science and Public Administration, joined the firm in 2004 as a Research Associate. His responsibilities include research, analysis, review of judicial decisions and legal articles, and writing in-depth reports and summaries The founder and leader of our Chinese Group, Ms. Lily Ying joined Margaret Wong & Associates in 1991. She initiated our contacts with Chinese communities in the United States and has maintained those relationships over the years, ensuring that the immigration needs of our Asian clients are met. Ms. Ying is fluent in English, Mandarin and has a working knowledge of Taiwanese. Our most senior paraprofessional, Mr. Ding Reyes has been with Margaret Wong & Associates since 1986. Born in Camarines Sur, Philippines, Noli (Ding) is both fluent in Tagalog language and Bicol dialect. He is highly experienced in preparing and processing employment authorizations, and advance parole and re-entry permits for our clients. In addition, Mr. Delos Reyes assists with family based cases. Alex Strmac joined our firm in November 2005. He is one of our Administrative Assistants and he mostly answers the telephones, assists clients with their questions, schedules appointments over the telephone and meets clients when they come in for an appointment. Alex graduated from Cleveland State University in 2003 with two Bachelor’s Degress in Political Science and in International Business. Fabiola Cini, a Law School graduate from Albania, joined our firm in 2005. She works closely with our deportation attorneys preparing different applications such as asylum, cancellation of removal, adjustment of status, petition for alien relative, removal of conditions, working authorization, among others. She helps the attorneys follow up Court cases. She is fluent in both English and Albanian. |
