USCIS reaches FY 2009 H-1B Cap
Just a note that our office filed for all of our new H-1B's for fiscal year 2009. Our staff worked very hard and came in the Saturday before to accomplish this feat. Reminder that the numerical limit does not apply to those that already have an H-1B # and are transferring to a new employer or are extending their H-1B with the same company.
Our office processes Child Status Protection Act Cases (CSPA) and we look forward to helping you with these types of cases and receive a favorable outcome. The Child Status Protection Act was created to provide relief to children who age-out [who turn 21] as a result of backlogs by USCIS in processing visa petitions and asylum and refugee applications. A child under this category would be an unmarried individual under 21 years of age. CSPA does not change this definition. It just changes the point at which the child's age is calculated.
